I observed and created original art. At first i wants to to do a girl blowing leaves but since it's fall I really wanted to do something related to trees so I decided to do a tree on the wall.
I took risks because I have never painted with clay before, sd it was very challenging mixing the clay with water to create paint. When began with my art work it was two faces on the wall and it was hard to turn the faces into a tree but still leave them in my art work. While doing my art I solved and encountered many problems with mixing the paint and actually painting. I had to use a stool to paint up high; it was very challenging because my hands got tired easely

I created original artwork: I went on pinterest and looked up different styrogami projects, then I just took different shapes from different ones and just made up my own.
I developped art making skills: I learn how to cut up little cups to make different shapes, I learned that you have be really careful with hot glue because the smell isn't good for you. so I worked carefully and I fully observed what I was doing. I took risks by creating a tall sculptures and using hot glue to stick all of my pieces together because you had to apply just a little bit so the smell doesn't affect you. I communicated through my artwork because I wanted the viewer to feel like they are in a dream world or fantasy. I feel I have met my goal because my classmates said that "it reminds me of Alice in wonderland. For me the fun theory is something an artwork created to make people do something that can actually be helpful or sometimes even healthy for them in fun way. Everyone interacting with each other for fun. An example of a fun theory would putting candy in every page of my notebooks to study so it can encourage me to go further with my studies. That can work with many people. Including little kids because everyone loves candy once in awhile. I can do it to study for a test but not for homework because that would be to much and you will have cavity. One thing I really love about this video is that he talks about how he used his disadvantage to create art. I love that he tried new things "embracing a limitation can become a liberation". He tried big and small scale of art works. you can actually create art by looking for limitations. "we need to first become limited in order to become limitless". He did not only rely on himself but also on other people to create his art, his art pieces were stories. He produced things that did not exist in the first place. He destroyed art in order to create a fresh new project. When you create art you need to let go of the outcomes and failure and just do it. Art can transform yourself and your world, always try to look for possibilities. Try things that others can immitate, remind yourself everyday to cease the limitations. |
